Rolling along

We are making huge inroads here in Atlanta. There is a huge (by our standards) bike culture here. The biggest club in the area, the Southern Bike League, holds like 200 rides a month. You've all heard of critical mass? There is one here. They also have a courteous mass. Same concept, but follow all rules, as ByBicycles would teach. SO COOL! That is every 2nd Friday of month, today. We go out for a ride, end up staying out 3-4 hours every ride. Wednesday night we were coming home about 9pm, when Pam said some skaters were about to pass us. First it was like 4 skaters, then they pulled over at an intersection for water, ??, we passed them, said "hey", then about two minutes later, here comes like 30 of them, all lit up with headlamps, blinkies, one roller even had wheels that lit up!!  We love this place, man. Last week the weather was so nice, we actually got the bike tan started. I used a SPF8 sunscreen one day... not enough for a northerner. Sunburn. Now using SPF 30. We are about to start leading rides and teaching skill classes. We believe we can be full time bicycle educators here. There is demand. And, cyclists love the group dynamic. Tomorrow will be our 1 month aniversary. Its time to get busy.....
